XUI a Success for Project @ Visa International

"They delivered a successful product on time, with excellent team support. Their technology has delivered on the promise..."

                                                                            - Visa International SVP
Six (6) weeks was all it took for JWAY to deliver a rich, graphical web interface to Visa International!

Visa International recently engaged JWAY to develop a rich web client for an enterprise asset management system they currently have in place, as part of its process to evaluate the value proposition presented by XUI. The asset management system in use had been implemented in two client versions; a thick client as well as a web client.

The main challenge with the web client version was the absence of richness and functionalities that were fully appreciated and sought after by the users of the thick client version. Limitations and challenges presented by traditional processes and technologies used to build web applications, together with a general lack of standards to create UI components, produced a very different user experience in terms of completing user's tasks, navigation, as well as "look-and-feel". There was pain.

Visa found a good fit in XUI to enhance the application's interface and performance. With XUI, the rich user experience on the thick client was successfully extended over to the web, delivering the familiar and functional menu bars, tool bars, icons, screen panes, grids and tables, and complex tabbed panes with dynamically driven data.

"Visa recently contracted with the JWAY Group to develop a Proof of Concept for a web interface to our asset management system," said Laura Gregory, Visa International Senior Vice President of Asset Management. "They delivered a successful product on time, with excellent team support. Their technology has delivered on the promise, i.e., to provide a web-based interface to AssetCenter that looks just like the client-based interface."
