XUI 2.3 Developer Edition was released on February 25, 2005.
XUI may now be downloaded complete with examples. With the XUI Developer Edition, JWAY aims to reach rich internet application developers and emerging technologies enthusiasts all over the world.
The XUI Developer Edition is JWAY's response to requests from architects, engineers, and developers who have seen XUI in action and been wishing to experience XUI development hands-on. JWAY provides installation and application guides, component and schema references, examples and interactive lab to assist the user from start up through development and deployment of desktop-like user interfaces.
Future releases of XUI will provide extended browser support for Apple Macintosh, tag library for Eclipse, prototyping of accessibility features to comply with W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), advanced SVG (scalable vector graphics) support for reporting/graphing, new "skins" or look-and-feel, and new key and mouse short-cut operations among others.
